Privacy
Your family's photos are yours. Here is everything we do with them.
What we keep
- The photos you scan or add, and the restored copies we make.
- The stories you record or type, and the names and dates you add.
- Your name and email from Apple or Google, if you sign in.
Who sees it
- Only the people in your family on Our Decades, and the people you send things to.
- Restoring happens on our own servers.
- When a photo is brought to life, that photo is sent to our animation service (Kling, through fal.ai) to make the video. We ask them to delete it within an hour.
- Your voice is turned into words on your iPhone. The words of a story (never the photo or the voice) are read by Claude, from Anthropic, to suggest names, dates and places for that photo. Anthropic doesn't use them to train its AI.
- Payments go through Apple. We never see your card.
What we never do
- Use your photos to train AI.
- Sell or share your data for ads.
Deleting
Settings → Delete my account and photos removes your photos, stories, videos and the families you made, from our servers, right away.
